Play the islands. Earn the token.
Hysol is a browser MMORPG on Solana. Sign in with your wallet, fight your way across six islands, and take a share of the treasury in $HYSOL — paid straight back to the wallet you signed in with. This page explains all of it.
What Hysol is
A proper 2D MMORPG — combat, skills, quests, gear, a shared world — with a token economy wired through the middle of it. Everything you do that is worth rewarding is recorded on the server and paid out on-chain.
Just connect a wallet
No holding requirement right now. Sign in, pick a name, play.
Fight for your share
The treasury buys $HYSOL and drips it daily to everyone who fought.
Build a character
Skills, gear you can temper five steps, and 100 companions.
Claim an isle
Name it, level it, open its cache daily, visit your friends'.
Getting in
- Connect your wallet on the login screen — Phantom, Solflare or Backpack. On a phone, open the game inside your wallet app's browser.
- Sign one message. The server hands your wallet a one-time code to sign. It proves the wallet is yours. It is not a transaction, it moves nothing and it costs no gas.
- Pick a name. New wallets choose an adventurer name once. Come back with the same wallet and you drop straight into your character.
Controls
Everything is playable with a mouse; the keyboard makes it faster.

The screen
- Top left — your health and mana bars.
- Top right — the $HYSOL badge: your balance and what you have earned today. Click it any time.
- Bottom right — the button bar. From the left: the $HYSOL wallet, inventory, achievements, quests, map, profile, friends, chat and settings.

The $HYSOL wallet menu is the important one. It shows your balance, holder tier and XP boost, your isle, what every activity pays, today's contracts, the lucky-strike ladder, the top killers, the Sunshare pool and your full payout history with links to every transaction.
Your first hour
-
Do the tutorial — it teaches movement, chopping,
fishing, cooking and combat in a few minutes. In a hurry? Press
Skip the tutorial on the welcome screen, or type
/skiptutorial. - Meet the guides. You land in the Landing Isle common room — five guides and the Kosmetics Vendor stand around it, and between them they explain the whole game.
- Kill things. Kills earn your share of the daily drip, and they feed your contracts at the same time.
-
Check your contracts in the wallet menu or with
/contracts. Three rotate every day and each pays $HYSOL. -
Go home.
/islandtakes you to your isle and fills its cache once a day. Name it with/renameisle. - Keep the dust. Ember Dust and the rarer materials you find are what upgrade your gear later at the Sunforge.
Every way to earn
All of it is decided by the server, recorded in a ledger and paid to your wallet. You can watch every payout, pending or sent, in the wallet menu.
| What you did | What it pays | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Killing anything at all | a share of the daily Sunshare drip | paid daily |
| Every kill | 0.005 $HYSOL, up to 2 a day | paid daily |
| Top 10 killers of the day | 10 / 6 / 4 / 2 … $HYSOL | paid daily |
| Daily contracts (3 a day) | 0.5 – 0.75 $HYSOL each | on completion |
| Boss kill | 2 – 5 $HYSOL | 6 hour cooldown per boss |
| Miniboss kill | 0.5 $HYSOL | per kill |
| Finishing a quest | 1 $HYSOL | once per account |
| Unlocking an achievement | 0.25 $HYSOL | once per account |
| Logging in | 0.25 $HYSOL + 0.1 per streak day | daily, streak caps at 7 |
| Lucky strikes | materials, and up to 2 $HYSOL | random, any kill or gather |
| Bounty pouches | Fartcoin, WIF, TROLL, BONK, POPCAT | rare finds |
The Sunshare flywheel
This is the engine of the whole economy. Trading fees are claimed into the Hysol treasury, and every claim is split:
| Share | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| 10% | buys $HYSOL on the open market — this becomes the Sunshare pool for players |
| 90% | stays as SOL for the team |
The players' share never leaves as SOL. It is spent buying the token, and those tokens are dripped back out. Fees buy $HYSOL, the $HYSOL goes to the players, the players keep playing.
Who gets the drip
Every day a slice of the pool is shared between everyone who fought that day, weighted by how much you killed. Kill a handful of things and you are in the airdrop. Hunt all evening and you take a proportionally bigger slice. This one follows the fighting.
You can watch the pool grow in the wallet menu. When it pays out, the whole world sees the announcement.
Daily contracts
Every UTC dawn the bounty board rotates three contracts, picked from a pool of twelve. Everyone in the world sees the same three: cull certain creatures, chop logs, land catches, mine ore or forage.
Finish one and its $HYSOL bounty is paid immediately. Each pays once per day
per adventurer. Progress lives in the wallet menu, or type
/contracts.
Kill leaderboard
Every mob you kill counts towards your daily tally. At UTC midnight the day is settled: everyone is paid per kill (capped), the top ten killers take the leaderboard prizes, and the Sunshare drip goes out.
See the standings in the wallet menu or type /top. Tallies are
saved as you play, so a server restart never costs you your kills.
Lucky strikes
Every kill and every resource you gather quietly rolls against this ladder. Most rolls give nothing. The rest are worth stopping for.
| Strike | Roughly | Pays |
|---|---|---|
| Ember Dust | 1 in 45 | material only |
| Sunstone | 1 in 320 | +0.05 $HYSOL |
| Tide Crystal | 1 in 1,800 | +0.25 $HYSOL |
| Hysol Relic | 1 in 9,000 | +2 $HYSOL, announced to the world |
These four materials are also what the Sunforge eats, so a good run of luck is a good run of upgrades.
Bounty pouches & hidden creatures
Hidden creatures roam the islands and stashes lie buried. They are never announced — you get a whisper: "You sense something valuable hiding nearby…". Find it before it vanishes.
| Hidden creature | Drops |
|---|---|
| Wif Hound | WIF Pouch |
| Fartcoin Wisp | Fartcoin Pouch |
| Troll | Troll Pouch |
| Popcat | Popcat Pouch |
| Pump Frog | Pump Pouch |
| Bosses (rare) | any pouch, Bonk included |
Right-click a pouch and choose Interact to send the token inside to your wallet, through the same ledger as everything else.
Holder tiers
Your share of the total $HYSOL supply unlocks a rank — a badge above your head, a coloured name, a chat title, a permanent XP boost on combat and gathering, and better lucky-strike odds.
| Tier | Share of supply | XP boost & luck |
|---|---|---|
| Champion | 1% or more | +10% |
| Whale | 0.5% | +7.5% |
| Veteran | 0.25% | +5% |
| Rookie | 0.1% | +2.5% |
Tiers are re-checked automatically whenever your balance is read.
Caps & fair play
| Rule | Limit |
|---|---|
| Most one adventurer can earn in a day | about $20 worth |
| Daily $HYSOL bounty cap | 50 $HYSOL per UTC day |
| Per-kill payouts | 2 $HYSOL a day |
| The same boss again | after a 6 hour cooldown |
| Quests and achievements | pay once per account |
| Daily drip share | capped per account so nobody drains the pool |
Rewards are decided only by the server — the game client never sets an amount. One wallet to one account stops a single bag from powering many characters.
The Landing Isle
Every adventurer steps ashore in the same common room. The people standing around it are worth a word before you sail anywhere:
- Lumen the Rewardkeeper — how wallets, bounties, the daily drip and payouts work.
- Warden Bront — combat, daily contracts, the leaderboard and bounty pouches.
- Keeper Nerissa — your private isle, the daily Isle Cache and companions.
- Forgemaster Edda — tempering, the Sunforge and the materials that feed it.
- Cartographer Finn — the world map, the you-are-here beacon and island warps.
- Kosmetics Vendor — trades Tokens for cosmetics, from silly hats to bat wings.
The glowing Isle Portal in the middle of the room steps you onto your own private isle, and the world map's seventh pin, Your Isle, sails there too. Isles are bought, not given: at level 15 the wallet menu sells a Sandbar for 5,000 gold, and you can raise it three times - Haven (15,000), Stronghold (40,000) and Sunhold (100,000). The bigger the island, the bigger the daily cache. Only 108 isles exist across the four sizes, every claim is announced, and a teal portal on every platform carries you back to the Landing Isle.
Out in the world, keep an eye out for side quests: the Driftwood Hermit and the Tide Widow on the Solhaven sands, and the Ember Orphan in the north woods each have a story - and Tokens - for you.
Combat
Click a creature to attack it and your character keeps swinging until one of
you falls. Press T to re-engage your last target, and
H to eat mid-fight.
Your damage comes from your weapon's attack stats plus your combat skills; what you take comes off your armour's defence. You can change attack style in the profile screen to train a different skill while you fight.
Bosses hit far harder and are worth far more — they are also the reliable source of Sunforge materials, Companion Eggs and Sunforge Hammers.
Skills
Skills level up by doing them. The ones you will meet first:
- Accuracy, Strength, Defense, Health — trained by fighting.
- Lumberjacking — chop trees. Equip an axe first.
- Mining — rocks and ore. Equip a pickaxe.
- Fishing — fishing spots, with a rod.
- Foraging — plants and wild finds.
- Cooking, Smithing, Smelting, Crafting, Fletching, Alchemy — turn what you gather into something better.
Gathering rolls for lucky strikes exactly like fighting does, and it feeds the gathering contracts.
Gear & tempering
Weapons and armour drop from creatures, are sold by shops and are made at the forge. Right-click an item and choose Equip; some pieces need a skill level first.
The Sunforge
Every weapon and every piece of armour in the game can be tempered five steps further. A temper scales that item's own stats by 10% a step — your favourite blade stays your favourite blade, it just hits harder. Use a Sunforge Hammer while wearing the piece.
| Step | Costs | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Ember I | 5 Ember Dust | always works |
| Ember II | 12 Ember Dust, 1 Sunstone | 90% |
| Tide I | 20 Ember Dust, 3 Sunstones | 75% |
| Tide II | 6 Sunstones, 1 Tide Crystal | 55% |
| Sunforged | 10 Sunstones, 3 Tide Crystals, 1 Hysol Relic | 35% |
There is also a full Ember and Sunforged set — blade, helm, cuirass, greaves and bulwark — forged from gold gear at Smith Kaia in Solhaven.
Companions
A hundred creatures of the islands will walk with you, numbered #1 to #100, from a common Snek to the four Sunforged legendaries.
| Rarity | In the roster | Egg odds |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 40 | 60% |
| Uncommon | 28 | 26% |
| Rare | 18 | 11% |
| Epic | 10 | 2.7% |
| Legendary | 4 | 0.3% |
Companion Eggs drop from bosses and turn up in high-level Isle Caches. Use one to hatch a companion, then release it from your bag to have it follow you around. Legendary hatches are announced across the islands.
Your isle
Every adventurer is given an isle the first time they travel home. Press
My Island in the wallet menu or type /island.
-
Name it —
/renameisle Ember Rest, 3 to 24 letters, bound to your account. - Level it — your isle level rises as you fight, and it decides what the cache can hold.
- Loot it — coming home once a day fills your Isle Cache: potions and Ember Dust early on, then Sunstones, Sunforge Hammers, Tide Crystals, Companion Eggs and eventually a Hysol Relic.
-
Share it —
/visit <adventurer>takes you to a friend's isle while they are online.
The islands
Six islands make up the world: Solhaven (where you start), Emberreach, Mistlake, Palmgrove, Cinderfell and Tidevault.
Press M for the world map. It is drawn from the real islands:
a red beacon pulses exactly where you stand, the island under your boots
gets a gold ring, and locked islands are greyed out with a tooltip naming
the quest or feat that opens them.
Click an unlocked island to warp to it — the winds only ask a minute between jumps. Solhaven has the bank, the shops and the Sunforge.
The bank peg
Gold and $HYSOL are pegged: 1,000 gold = 1 $HYSOL. Open the wallet menu and press Exchange Gold to swap every full thousand you carry - a 5% tithe comes off the top, the credit lands in your reward ledger, and the usual daily cap applies. Gold stays infinite to earn; the peg just gives every coin a floor.
Cosmetics & tokens
Tokens drop from everyday hunts — bats, goblins, skeletons, wolves, spiders and spectres all carry them — and the side quests pay them too. The Kosmetics Vendor on the Landing Isle trades them for cosmetics.
Some looks drop straight from the creatures themselves: Batterflies occasionally shed their dark wings — wear them and glide around in style. More creature cosmetics are on the way.
Tip: the inventory Sort button groups your bag by category — weapons, armour, trinkets, food, materials, companions — each slot wearing a small coloured letter.
Dying
When you fall you respawn back on the main island. You keep what you have
earned — payouts already recorded are yours. Watch your health bar and carry
food;
H eats the first thing in your bag without opening a menu.

Treasury & fee split
Trading fees earned by the token are claimed into the Hysol treasury wallet. Every claim is split 10% to the players — spent buying $HYSOL for the Sunshare pool — and 90% to the team, kept as SOL.
Payouts are ordinary Solana transfers. Every one of them is in your payout history with a link to the explorer, so you can check the chain yourself.
Security & fair play
- The sign-in code is single use and tied to your connection — a captured signature cannot be replayed.
- Signing in never asks for a transaction, a token approval or gas. Hysol never needs to move anything out of your wallet.
- Every reward amount is decided server-side. The client cannot ask for a payout.
- Daily caps, boss cooldowns and once-per-account rewards keep farming in check.
- One wallet to one account stops a single bag powering many characters.
- Nobody from Hysol will ever ask for your seed phrase or private key.
FAQ
Do I need $HYSOL to play?
Not right now. Connect a wallet and you are in. Holding does help — it unlocks a tier, an XP boost and better luck — but it is not required.
My payout says pending. What now?
It is queued. Pending entries are paid as soon as the treasury can send them, and the entry is yours either way.
How much can I actually earn?
It is deliberately a trickle, capped at roughly $20 worth a day per adventurer. The point is a steady share for everyone playing, not a payday for a few.
Do I need SOL for gas?
No. The treasury pays the transaction fee and creates your token account if you do not have one.
Can I use a second wallet on my account?
No. The wallet that first signed into an account is bound to it. Use the other wallet to make a second character instead.
Do I have to fight to earn?
For the daily drip, yes — it follows kills. Quests, achievements, gathering contracts, the login streak and lucky strikes all pay without a fight.
Where does the money come from?
Trading fees on the token, claimed into the treasury. Ten percent of every claim buys $HYSOL and goes back out to the people playing.
